Mr.Suresh Mhatre

Born in 1954, Mr. Mhatre is amongst the first of the new generation of managers in the IT industry who have specialised in e-Governance.After schooling in St. Mary’s Bombay, where as a House Captain his leadership qualities were first evident,He completed his college education in St. Xavier’s, before proceeding to SPCE, University of Bombay for a degree in Engineering.During his graduation,Mr. Mhatre was elected Chairman of the Bombay University Students Council and was a member of the University Senate. After graduation in Mechanical Engineering in 1977,Mr. Mhatre went on to complete his Masters in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University Of Florida, USA.

Mr. Mhatre then joined TCS in January 1979 and spent his initial years developing software before going on to head the Management Consultancy Division in TCS.His technical excellence won him the IIIE Gold Medal for the ‘Best Case Study’.He also went on to become the National Vice-President of the Institute Of Management Consultants of India.He is also a Fellow of the Institute Of Engineers and a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of India.

In 1989,Mr. Mhatre was shifted to HR and appointed the youngest Head Of Manpower Allocation Committee of TCS, which handles all project allocations. In the next 3 years he completely overhauled the department and achieved the greatest jump in manpower productivity experienced by TCS.Also he helped TCS introduce the concept of key resource identification and mentoring which has helped in controlling attrition.In 1992, He went on to head the Branch Level Review team in Bombay, which reviews the manpower productivity and client satisfaction. During this time, he also was member of the JRD-QV award winning team, which introduced world-class values to TCS.

In 1998, Mr. Mhatre was appointed Head of HR Sourcing with a view to attracting the best possible talent within TCS.As the Head of all recruitment in TCS,he headed a team that was the largest single recruiter of technical manpower in the country. He also heads the Project Allocation Group, which matches skills with project request.

In 2001,He was shifted to the Strategic Planning Group where his main challenge was to build up a world class IT organization, which will provide hi-technology solutions to TCS clients. Moreover, he spearheaded TCS’s efforts to more to a higher strategic orbit of providing business solutions rather than only IT solutions.

In 2003,Mr. Mhatre went back to Management Consulting and has worked in the area of e-Governance. He was the Chief Technical Architect for the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. Currently, he is the Project Director of the MCGM Project.

Ravi has two decades of experience in Human Resource Management and has worked in various sectors like Paints and Engineering in the initial part of his career before moving to the Pharmaceutical industry in 1995. He has handled a specialist HRD role in a Pharmaceutical Multinational (SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals India Ltd) looking after Recruitment, Training, Performance Management, Compensation and Job Evaluation before taking on the role of HR Director in another Pharmaceutical MNC (Allergan India Pvt. Ltd) in the year 2000. Ravi joined Biocon in Jan’07 and is responsible for corporate human resources as well as mentoring the HR teams of our group companies.

Ravi has demonstrated competence across the spectrum of HR. He possesses strong functional skills that have enabled him to develop Competency based HR systems for recruitment, selection and training. He has developed and ran about 20 assessment / selection centers for middle and senior managers. He has demonstrated strong leadership and team building skills and has a flair for Organisation Development and Culture building.

Mr. Mukherjee is currently serving TAM as the head of Communications for TAM Media Research and as the Business Head of Eikona PR Track – the PR and Content Measurement & Analysis wing of TAM.

Mr. Mukherjee brings with him 9 years of experience in the area of Corporate and Marketing Communications. He spent five years in Delhi before moving to his current base city - Mumbai. Before moving into TAM Media Research, he has worked in various National and Multinational Communications Consultancies including like Lintas, JWT and Roger Pereira. This journey has provided him with the opportunity to learn the communications dynamics that are unique to each product category.

A standard measurement system has been the key towards the growth and effectiveness of Advertising as a tool worldover. Convinced by this, he has already initiated a dialogue with PRCAI (Public Relations Consultants Association of India) and proposed a template for coming up with one standard measurement matrix for the PR Communications.

Apart from traveling and sporadic reading habits, music has had a big influence on Mr. Mukherjee. No wonder, he also enjoys playing the Tabla.

Mr. Krishnan, joined TAM in October 2000 and his team’s focus has been on developing TAM as a key brand within the Indian Media industry. Mr. Krishnan's background stretches to almost 15 years post joining the stream of Indian Media planning community. His experience has stretched across Mediacom (Grey India), JWT & Starcom, working for clients like P&G, Unilever personal products, Bayer, Bajaj, Godrej etc. In his stint in Starcom, his work on Coke went on to win the Starcom’s most prestigious global media award, “North Star”. He owes all his experience & learning to his team mates in TAM and his other erstwhile organizations. While he continues to stretch his interest from Reading & Writing to teaching Media in various institutes, his passion for Astrophysics (the area he focused during his studies) still rules very high. Over these years, he and his team has presented their selected Research paper on “Breaking Program Loyalty” in ESOMAR conferences in Tokyo as well as in Montreal, Canada on “Reincarnating TAM Panelists”. Today, looking back at the last decade, including the Nine years in TAM, it has certainly been an experience full of fun, challenges, innovations and a lot of dare devil acts.
