As an Executive Creative Director, Amit Mukherjee spearheads the New Delhi office of Dentsu Communications.   Armed with a degree in Applied Art from Delhi College of Art and a PGDBA from Institute of Marketing and Management (IMM), New Delhi, Mr.  Mukherjee has been in the task of nurturing brands for the past 20 years.

Before joining Dentsu in 2008, he worked with some of the leading advertising agencies in India, namely Lintas, Ogilvy and Saatchi and Saatchi. In 2006, Mr. Tyagi left Bharti Airtel Ltd and joined Haier Appliances as director Human resources and he handles the entire gammit of Talent Acquisition, Talent Retention and Talent Development for Haier India. 
He is also responsible for designing, Planning and Development of HR policies & strategies for the group in India.

 In JWT Mumbai,  he works on the Johnson & Johnson portfolio (Listerine, Band-aid, Savlon, Benadryl, Splenda, Shower to Shower, Crocin), Godrej Corporate, LIC and Starbucks.
Prior to advertising, a brief, miserable stint as a software programmer, a post graduate degree in computer management from Symbiosis and a graduate degree in commerce from University of Poona helped him decide what he didn’t want to do. Along with copywriting, his passions include Formula-1, scuba diving, photography, science fiction, experimenting in the kitchen and watching movies.
