Mr.
Sharma has led and been associated with some of the notable transaction in
M&A, Private Placement and Capital Markets. He has consummated transactions
over USD 1Bn in Deal Value.
He
has advised leading Global, Asian (Japanese, Singaporean) and Indian Corporates
in the space of FMCG (Personal Care, Foods & Beverages, Home Care),
Agri-commodities and Appliances, in addition to leading PE funds interested in
India Consumption Growth Story.
Prior
to joining Kotak, Mr. Sharma worked with the India and New York offices of
American Express. He started his career
with Britannia Industries Limited.
He
is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and an undergraduate
from the University of Delhi.
He
is the founding member and vice-curator of the World Economic Forum (Mumbai
Chapter – Global Shapers), India.
He
has also co-authored ‘Joker in the Pack’ a bestselling humor fiction novel
based on life at Indian business schools. The book was declared a bestseller by
NDTV and has sold about 16,000 copies in 50 months.
