Mr. Chauhan responsibilities include looking after the group companies of Rediffusion – Y&R; TME, Wunderman, Showdiff Worldwide, Rediffusion – Y&R Public Relations, OAP-Touchpoint as well as Rediffusion – Y&R.
Previous to this role Mr. Chauhan was President, Rediffusion – Y&R. Under his leadership the creative agency grew into a hub of the best talent and some of the most admired work around. With over sixteen years of experience, Mr. Chauhan has worked for some of the biggest brands of HUL, Shell, Cadbury’s, Tata Motors, BP-Castrol, Bajaj as well as the Taj Group of Hotels. He started his career with Ogilvy and Mather and returned there again in 1998 when he was closely involved in business development, accruing accounts like Tata Corporate, Amaron Batteries, Bajaj, Grasim, Pfizer and ITC. He then went on to become Regional Business Director (Africa, Middle East and South Asia) for Castrol and BP businesses at O&M. His first stint with Rediffusion – Y&R, then Rediffusion I DYR, was in 1995 and again in 2002 when he was came back to head the South operations as Vice President. After turning around the Bangalore office, he moved to Mumbai to become President of Everest Integrated Communications in 2004 – alternate agency to Rediffusion. After an extremely successful period with Everest, which saw the agency being relaunched as Everest Brand Solutions and reclaim its place among the top creative agencies in India, Mr. Chauhan was appointed President of Rediffusion – Y&R. An all-round sportsman once, he is a keen follower of all sports besides being a man who loves to party. Music and books are also his passions.
