Mr.A.P.Rao is CEO, Asia Pacific, Casby Geometra Supply Chain Pte Ltd (Singapore). He is also the CEO, India for the Supply Chain Management & Solutions business of Casby Logistics while also being on the Board of Directors of Casby’s other Logistics Business’s such as Casby Global Air Private Limited & Cassinath Truckers Private Limited.
APR as he is fondly known in the industry circles is an International Speaker on Supply Chain, Logistics and Leadership and is also the Country Representative (India) for ‘Supply Chain Asia’ while also being on the EXCO (Executive Committee) and was recently referred to as the Youngest Non-Owner/Founder CEO in the Supply Chain Industry. Most recently he has been inducted on the Advisory Board of ELSC (Express Logistics & Supply Chain Conclave). He is an Economics Graduate and also holds an Advanced Business Management (Young Leaders Program) from National University of Singapore Business School where he was awarded with the Best Creative Mind & Best Project, a record which he holds for the past 6 years, of the most that any Indian national has received so far amongst stiff competitors from countries namely England, USA, Ireland, Spain, China, Singapore, Vietnam, Australia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Philippines & Malaysia.
APR has rich experience in the field of supply chain management & solutions from the User, Advisor and Service Provider side and has worked with some of the best names in the Fortune 500 and FTSE 100. When GE Healthcare acquired Datex Ohmeda in 2003, he assisted the India team on some key Supply Chain Implementations, spearheaded the Operational Implementation of the first ever Automotive In-plant Project for Exel India (Exel Plc’s Indian arm) at Hindustan Motors Pithampur plant (the most successful in-plant project till date) with the able leadership and guidance of his Indian mentor Mr.Goyal. He mentored some key logistics personnel during his tenure with Jubilant on the back end supply chain optimization for the largest network of Pizza Retail outlets in India, apart from extending his expertise to Port Logistics, Aviation Logistics and Solutions Design for Cold Chain in India.
At Casby Logistics Group of Companies, APR is actively involved in getting the group companies under one roof, so as to offer customers with exceptional service offerings, as an Integrated 3rd Party Logistics Service Provider in the Domestic as well as Overseas markets. He also supports the group on Strategy, Solutions and Mergers & Acquisitions in Supply Chain as well as Non Supply Chain areas
