Brigadier Prakash Ghogale is an alumnus of the National Defene Academy, Khadakvasla, Defence Services Staff College Wellington and College of Naval Warfare Mumbai besides being an MSc in Defense Studies and an MBA. He was commissioned in Brigade of the Guards and actively participated in the most famous battle of the 1971 Indo-Pak war in Bangladesh - The Battle of Hilli. He commanded on infantry battalion at 18000 feet in the Tibetan Plateau and a Tank brigade in the Thar Dessert..
Superannuated in 2004, he was one of the lucky few to have had the option of two jobs in the Corporate Sector – he finally joined the biggest hotel in Delhi – the Hyatt Regency in September 2004 and has been with them since. During his tenure there, he successfully sorted out a six-year-old Union problem within a matter of 3 months. Hyatt Regency Delhi was in the Top 20 list as Best Place to work in 2010 and has always been on top in the Gallup Employee Engagement Survey.
