Mr.  R P Mittal has been working at Somany Ceramics Ltd, a 1000 crore company, for last 19 years. The company manufactures Ceramic Tiles under the brand name of “Somany”.During his stay he has headed the Commercial functions, HR functions, and Production. Before joining Somany Group, he had served Indian Air force for 20 years in Operations, Training and Commercial functions.  He is an alumnus of Allahabad University, National Defence Academy Pune, Air Force Flying College Hyderabad, National University of Singapore and IIM Ahmedabad.  He was one of the pioneers of initiating Sky Diving as a sport in India in the year 1976.   He continues to take active interest in sports activities andregularly participates in half marathons, in India, and outside India.
