Mr. P. K. Gandhi is a leading HR professional of the country with a rich professional experience of more than 30 years. A graduate from the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) in Delhi University, he did his post graduation from Xavier Institute in 1977. Immediately, he joined one of the leading names in corporate India, Tata Steel and worked in many projects and mines in its raw material division. Mr. Gandhi has been actively associated with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as early as 1982. In 1986, he came to Jamshedpur before being assigned to work in a joint venture project of Tata with an US multinational Timken. He joined back Tata Steel in 1992. He was appointed into a 10 million tonnes steel plant. In December 1999, he joined as the HR country head for a multinational engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company Bechtel. In October 2005, he joined another leading name of corporate India Punj Lloyd. He was instrumental in expanding and strengthening the work force strength of the company to grow fourfold within a short span of three years.
