Mr. Binayak Datta is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India and is by career a systems and information professional. After his schooling at St. Joseph’s Allahabad and Graduation from the Calcutta University, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1977 and as a Systems and Information professional in 1979.He has been in the Services of Philips India for most of his career from where he left as the General Manager Finance and Administration and a nominated Director on the Board of ELMI ( a subsidiary). He was lately in services with Chambal Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd. as the General Manager Finance, Accounts and IT.Mr. Datta currently is the Vice President Finance & CFO of Zuari Industries Limited and is on the Board of several of its Group Companies. He is a member of Assocham (Experts Committee on Direct Taxes), Rajasthan Chamber (Taxation Subcommittee) ex-member Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Indirect Taxes Committee) and ex-member of CII (ER) {Economic Affairs Committee}.Mr. Datta is a Technical & Professional Associate Member of the FAI. He is also on the Managing Committee of the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industries and is the Chairman of the HR & IR Sub-committee there. He has been on the Accounting Standards Committee and Company Law Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India – in different Regional Councils. Mr. Datta has been a paper writer, speaker, moderator and mentor in various professional events organized by Chambers of Commerce and Professional Institutes. He has conducted corporate and international training courses in ABC Management, EVA, Understanding of Financials, Financial Laws, Accounting Standards, Balanced Score Cards, IFRS Convergence, Team Building and Team Play, VAT and Taxation for Purchase Professionals – to name a few..He is a fond family man, an avid reader, an active sportsman, a traveler and a photographer by liking, a musician, cartoonist, playwright and play-director at leisure and is an active Rotarian.

He has prior experience of 24 years with Larsen & Toubro Limited, Hoechst India Limited, ANZ Grindlays Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and ABN AMRO Bank. He has worked in diverse industries such as manufacturing, banking, finance, and shared services with oversight for financial accounting, financial control and reporting, and management accounting both in India and abroad.

Mr. Pant completed his Mgmt Degree from IIM Ahmedabad in 1997 and joined The Coca-Cola Company. He has been with Coke for the last 12 years starting right from initial years in sales, to a very long stint in marketing across various brands and categories. He launched Kinley water in India and handled brands Thums Up and Coca-Cola. Mr. Pant also handled the media function being responsible for all media planning and buying across the portfolio. In 2005 he moved to Atlanta, USA to the Coke headquarters to manage brand Fanta at a global level. In Mr. Pant returned to India in his current role as Director Marketing, Still Beverages responsible for Still categories like Juices and Water and Innovation into new categories at Coca-Cola India.
