Ranjona Banerji has worked in the media for about 25 years and in a number of publications from Bombay magazine and India Today to Gentleman to Mid-day and the Times of India. She has also co-written and co-edited with Mr Ayaz Memon a book on 50 years of Indian Independence, which was published in 1997. She has been deputy editor of Mid-Day and deputy resident editor of the Gujarat edition of The Times of India. She is currently senior editor, edit page, with DNA, Mumbai's newest and fastest growing English broadsheet. She writes a fortnightly column on the edit page, a weekly restuarant review and as often about tennis superstar Roger Federer.
