Ms. Madhavi is responsible for developing and implementing the people strategy for the Bank in India and South Asia and providing leadership to business in change management, organizational design and transformation initiatives. She plays a key role as a member of the Bank’s Management Committee in building employee engagement and the employer brand in the South Asia region.
Her previous roles have included Head of HR – India, Head HR – GTO and Support Functions and Head of Resourcing, India. In her earlier stint with the Bank, Madhavi also headed Performance & Reward Management. During her tenure with the Bank, she has driven various projects, and is a Director on the Board of Standard Chartered Finance Limited.
Ms.Madhavi has over 20 years of experience and has held various positions in multi-national organisations like ABN Amro Bank, Colgate Palmolive and HCL Hewlett Packard Ltd. She holds an MBA degree with specialisation in Human Resources and Systems from XLRI, Jamshedpur, India and a Masters degree in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, India.
She actively contributes to the latest HR thinking through articles published in reputed publications. Her hobbies include travelling, movies and reading. She is married and has a son.
