Mr Zubin Poonawalla is one of those Progressive, Change-Oriented, visionary Managers that Logistics & Supply Chain Industry has in acute shortage. It is easy to stay in one's job & keep on adding Number of Years & call them EXPERIENCE, but it is difficult to actually learn, grow, make others understand objectives & help them grow & acquire & use skills that help meet the customers' & organization's business objectives - which are the hallmarks of a truly experienced professional. Relationship/network builder par excellence, his pulse of realities on ground,field knowledge of logistics,people touch as well a highly customer focused approach earned him lot of respect.Of-course he was a walking talking encyclopedia on anything under the Sun, right from Cuban cigars to Yoga to business economics.A mentor/boss par excellence who is always willing to give you a patient hearing & share his unbiased thoughts,I consider it a privilege that I got an opportunity to be part of his team.
