Mr. Damodar Tota
is a B.SC (Bachelors of Science),
MSW (Masters in Social Work-Personnel Management) & LL.B (Bachelors of Law)
from Nagpur University. He started his career since 1987.
With over 25 years of work experience in the field Human Resources with M/s.Ashok
Leyland and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, he has contributed immensely in the
areas of Core IR & HR, entailing creation of HR strategy aligned with
Business, structured Manpower planning, Talent Management Performance Management
Systems, Competency mapping, Capability building, Employee Engagement, Systems
improvement, OD & change management, HR policy design & implementation
etc. His core strength lies in handling complex IR issues and to drive OD & change
management initiatives. He was instrumental in creating a transformational work
culture in Mahindra’s Igatpuri plant and the Product Development Organization..Mr. Tota is with Mahindra & Mahindra for last 19 years. He worked at their Nagpur
plant, Igatpuri plant, Product Development Organization at Nasik, Chennai &
Kandivli.
Since Oct 2008, Damodar is heading the HR &
Administration function at Mahindra Navistar Automotives Ltd, Pune as Sr.
General Manager- HR.
